Michele is the former chief of the Camden County New Jersey Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit. She concentrates her practice in criminal defense.
Michele’s legal career began decades ago working for private firms in civil and criminal litigation. She joined the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office in 1987. During Michele’s career as an assistant prosecutor, she served as chief of the Grand Jury Unit, chief of the Career Criminal Unit, chief of the Fugitive Section, and chief of the Major Crimes Unit. She has tried more than one hundred cases to a jury, including some of the most complicated criminal cases in the region, and supervised thousands of others. Michele has also served as the Police Legal Advisor, which required that she be on call 24 hours a day to answer complicated legal matters and questions from law enforcement.
