Kasturi protects those who have suffered workplace discrimination, ERISA violations, sexual abuse or harassment, wage theft, police misconduct, unlawful restrictions in work opportunities, or other types of civil rights or employment law violations. She litigates on behalf of individuals as well as classes of plaintiffs. She also routinely negotiates employment contracts on behalf of corporate executives and healthcare providers, counsels institutional clients on workplace best practices, and conducts independent workplace investigations.
Kasturi began her career litigating employment and ERISA claims for five years as an associate in the Labor and Employment Law Section of Morgan Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia, widely recognized as one of the best employment law departments in the country. She then served as an Assistant Defender, primarily in the Major Trials Unit handling serious felony trials, at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where she handled hundreds of jury and judge trials, and preliminary and suppression hearings. Then from 2021, Kasturi has focused her practice on employment, sexual assault and civil rights law. Kasturi has more trial experience than most employment, sexual abuse, and civil rights attorneys accumulate in their careers.
Kasturi has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year since 2022.
Kasturi serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ACLU.
