Christen L. Casale is an experienced employment litigator and advisor with broad expertise.  She represents clients big and small, ranging from multinational corporations to family-owned businesses, as well as employees both individually and on a class basis.

 

Christen’s practice includes employment issues such as discrimination based on race, sex, pregnancy, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability, as well as related matters involving retaliation and harassment.  She also routinely handles matters involving disability accommodation, the Family Medical Leave Act, and whistleblower claims, including under the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. She conducts workplace investigations, often involving high-level employees and complex facts, to objectively assess potential risk and liability.

 

Ms. Casale has worked extensively in the health and safety space, including advising and litigation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, inspections and citations brought by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and state-level equivalents, and workplace safety whistleblowing.

Prior to joining our firm, Christen worked at Salmanson Goldshaw, P.C. from 2022-2024 and in the Labor and Employment practice group of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP from 2015-2022.

 

Ms. Casale received her law degree in 2015 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she served on the law review. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012, magna cum laude, majoring in Political Science, Philosophy, and Spanish.
